Spring Village was a blessing for my Mother and my family. My Mother had gotten to the point where she could no longer be left alone and required around the clock care. Spring Village more than provided this care for her. [name removed] was like an Angel that had been sent to watch over her for her last days. She went so far above and beyond her duties and personally helped her with grooming, companionship, and getting hospice care. [name removed] is one of the most genuine and caring people I have ever know and my brothers and I are eternally grateful for all you’ve done for our family.
From the first moment we visited and toured Spring Village at Stratford, we could tell they were different from the other facilities. They don't just go above and beyond - the staff sincerely cares about their residents and their quality of life. It was a difficult decision to move dad from California to Connecticut to be closer to his family. We interviewed over 9 facilities and Spring Village was alone at the top. Once we met with the staff and spoke with residents of the Spring Village family - the decision was easy. The Director of Community Relations is gold. She made sure that dad was not just comfortable but welcomed and loved. Because dad was happy and well-cared for, our worries vanished. If you are looking for a facility that provides top-notch service and sincerely cares about your loved one - consider Spring Village at Stratford. Simply - Outstanding.
Spring Village at Stratford was my sister's choice because she wanted to live in the area. The people there are very caring and they are very attentive. My sister's family is very comfortable there. They're very careful, especially with the COVID situation, and I appreciate knowing that my sister is safe. The staff is very attentive and polite. My sister's place is very clean and she said she's being spoiled, so I know she's being taken good care of. I feel comfortable about the staff. She's in a temporary room right now, it's a little apartment. It's very adequate, it has everything she needs. It has a kitchenette, a living room, and a bedroom with a bathroom. It's a decent size. I'm not quite certain of the activities because I don't know what my sister has taken advantage of yet.
My mother is there now. We are blessed to have such a great bunch of caring people tend to her during this difficult pandemic. How can we give any person of service, less than five stars, if they offer up their own life. That is Indeed Profound. Thank-You to all staff of Spring Village!
I visited this facility. We saw Spring Village at Stratford assisted living and they're very friendly and very nice. We saw the dining room, and the activities room. They have different floors with the rooms. They had a little nook area and we saw their beauty parlor, their billiard table, and things like that. They're very clean. The rooms were a little smaller than the ones at the other facility we saw, but it was very nice. They had an activities room and we saw a bingo game, they had card tables, a library, and a piano.
It is a great place to live. They show me great care. We have good activities. I am allowed to be creative. The food is good. I like making friends in the dining room. The nursing staff is great.
My mother is 89. Last January I noticed a marked decrease in memory and ability to handle everyday tasks. I searched for a care facility and was lucky to find Spring Village. The staff and management have proven professional and caring. She expresses trust she likes it there. The management has done a commendable job in handling the COVID protocols. I receive notices of any changes in mom's needs or facility, visitors, etc...I rest assured that mom is in good hands and receiving quality care.
